MTS Suspension is a suspension set up business owned and run by Matt Taylor.
Matt set up trading as MTS in 2016, having retired from a 30 year career. He trained as a mechanical engineer in the Royal Navy and was buying, selling and working on motorcycles from an early age.

OUR SERVICES
SERVICES
MTS Suspension provides fork service and rear shock rebuilds in a fully equipped specialist workshop. Services are for original manufacturer’s equipment, aftermarket products specialising in KTech suspension components.
Suspension components require regular servicing, over time and use the oil becomes contaminated with moisture and tiny particles from the abrasion of parts and bushes. This impedes the correct function of the shock or fork and eventually will damage internal parts.
FRONT FORK SERVICE
I only provide full service of front forks, this is because there may be damage or blockages to internal parts that are not obvious when only completing oil and seal service.
Front fork service includes:
External and internal parts visually inspected for wear and damage. Forks fully dismantled cleaned and reassembled including pistons and shim stacks. Seals and bushes replaced reassembled using top quality fork oil and correct air gap set. Any problems are identified to the customer.

REAR SHOCK SERVICE / REBUILDS
Rear shocks are fully dismantled visually inspected and cleaned, they are rebuilt with new seals and bushes as required and refilled using a vacuum machine with top quality KTech shock oil and Nitrogen. Springs are inspected and can be replaced with KTech parts

SUSPENSION UPGRADES
Suspension upgrades are available for most applications and can be tailored to most people’s budget.
Upgrades include;
Piston kits
Cartridge kits supplied and fitted
Rear shocks supplied and fitted
Spring upgrades including advice on suitable spring rates
Full fork upgrades
Bespoke advice available and quotes on request
TRACKSIDE SUSPENSION SET UP
As a track day instructor and racer with No Limits track days and racer Matt has gained the knowledge to support all levels of rider at track side. From lower group to advanced group, from club racer to BSB racer Matt provides a bespoke service to the rider asking specific questions to make the bike work for you. This includes knowledge of geometry set up, tyre choice and pressures bespoke to the rider’s needs, gearing advice and track knowledge.
Matt works closely with No Limits track days providing suspension set up Prices from £70
Matt also provides bespoke one to one or team service and support from £250 per day plus expenses.

ROAD RIDERS
I provide suspension set up for road riders and can offer a ride in ride out service at any track day I’m providing support at or at my premises, I also provide set ups for groups of riders and special events please contact for quotes and deals, including suspension health checks and upgrade advice.
